Help for non-profits
At Abiding Strategy, we are happy to help you and your North Texas 501(c)(3) charity. Lisa is certified in nonprofit management and has spent 15 years in the non-profit industry, so she has a unique viewpoint to help your organization. There are two options:
The Abiding Strategy® Workshop (ASW) – six hours
Lisa will come present her trademarked AbidingStrategy® Workshop for your senior leadership team at no charge to you. This is a six-hour workshop to be held at the location of your choice. You will receive one copy of Lisa‘s book and a digital copy of the ASW Companion Workbook, which you can print for each attendee to follow along during the program. At the end of the Abiding Strategy workshop, you will have a complete process for your strategy, assignments for your team members, the workbook to keep all the notes and actions, a copy of Lisa’s book Abiding Strategies, plus a poster sized visual aid sketch that you can have professionally rendered.
The Abiding Board Workshop – three hours
The second option is to have a board development program. The workshop is meant for orientation and training of your Board of Directors to help them to learn the best practices for any board, nonprofit or for-profit. This three-hour workshop dives deep into the legal obligations for the board, how to run a great meeting, why to use Roberts rules, and how to avoid the most common problem for nonprofit boards: doing committee work in the board meeting. A copy of Lisa’s book Abiding Strategies is included, as well as one follow-up coaching session for the CEO.
These options are pro bono for your charity. Venue expenses and various supplies will be provided by the charity. The normal fee for one of these sessions is up to $9,950. In lieu of cash payment, please provide one or more of the following:
an article or advertisement in your newsletter, and/or website, an equivalent sponsorship as in-kind, one email communication with your entire board to follow up the session, tickets to a gala or other event for your charity
A separate Letter of Engagement will be sent once we agree on the dates and terms. If you would like to learn more or check availability, please email Lisa@AbidingStrategy.com
